Blasters / Dave Alvin Marketplace
Blasters / Dave Alvin Marketplace
28May02:
This page hasn't been updated in a LONG time and I'm not sure it's been
very useful, so I'm no longer even trying to keep it up to date. At
some point in the future, I'll probably try to resurrect it, but for now,
I consider it dead, but leave it here in case it's still better than
nothing.
-Scot
I get almost weekly requests from people searching for hard to find
Blasters and Dave Alvin material. While I haven't located any golden source
for such stuff, I have gathered whatever I can find and in hopes that
others will do the same, have decided to start this Marketplace Page.
The page will have four sections:Official Blasters
items, For Sale/Trade, For
Trade, and Wanted. I will
NOT allow taped copies of released albums or
recordings of live shows to be offered for sale, but unless the band
members object, such material will be allowed in the For Trade
section. If someone attempts to charge you for this kind of material,
please let me know. I think we owe the band members, whose livelihood
depends on their music, this respect.
I am not sure how to control pricing on these items, so I guess I will let
everyone pick their own. I know for me, I have a difficult time with
prices because I just pay whatever it costs for each item and don't really
keep track of it - I just get whatever I can because I know people are
looking for it. If prices seem out of hand, please
contact me.
I've recently gotten a few items without verifiable return email addresses.
If your item isn't here, submit it again, but make sure you give me your
correct email address!
With all that aside, I leave you to the Marketplace!
- There are no longer any tapes or shirts left. Sorry.
